If sites that share art made an effort to direct people to the places that art came from I wouldn't care. But that's not the case.

Working my ass off for hours and hours and hours to see hentai aggregate sites use my content with people completely unable to find the sources is not acceptable. The best I can do is higher res unmarked textless version but I can't risk having all my hard work with very little options to have people who find and enjoy it unable to come to the source easily.

If it's a serious concern i'll ensure that buyers know its marked.

Fear of some thieves/pirates is the same reason any company puts security, or DRM on their product. This only proceeds to annoy customers, rather than dissuade would-be thieves.

If I'm going to drop $12 on a comic, I'd rather not having a website name plastered on every page. I dont mind it on the cover art. If I buy a comic or a manga from a store, I dont see the publisher's logo plastered on every page. Plenty of people still buy those, even if they'll obviously end on websites. Fact is, the people that read them on those websites probably dont care about supporting the content creator anyhow.
The real question is are you more afraid of someone posting your art on a website than you are of satisfy your customers. Because let's be frank, it's very easy for someone to Photoshop that off of the images and post them on a website. It wouldn't even take a couple of minutes to do remove that logo. As someone spending money, I'd rather not have to take the time to edit an image that shouldn't need editing. A pirate wont mind taking the time to do that if they wanted to. Not to mention, the pirate wouldn't even support you by purchasing a comic. They'd simply download the image off the website and then do the editing.

Just something to think about in the future. I'll still be buying this comic, this time, but as just some personal feedback from one of your patrons/supporters: It would probably be a lot easier if you just thought about those who are with you and not the fear of an image, possibly, appearing on some website and viewed by people who wouldn't care either way.

Again, I swear I will not spread the images - I just want the best possible version I can of your amazing comic <3.

That is understandable (your stuff pops up on Paheal the moment they are released, for example)but...

...any chance you could send them to me personally though? You have my word as a gentleman (and a lady!) that they would not leave my harddrive!

I'm sure I could show you a receipt of some kind of my purchase, if necessary.

I really wanted to not do that but the fear of having the superior edition dumped on other sites (with no watermarks) was too much. If i wasn't afraid of that happening id gladly give out those.

Other than that complaint, I whole-heartedly recommend the "Artist" edition. 3The animations in particular are delicious; especially the ones involving Amethyst and Pearl! :)

So I finally splurged and got the deluxe/special edition and I gotts say... I'm kinda disappointed that the pages are exactly the same as on the website, complete with both Pateron and Prismblush watermarks/logos.

Was hoping for "clean" copies of each of the page...

??? Why is anyone asking for free content when he already posts a bunch of free comics, tutorials and pinups? Why should anyone be entitled to the extra incentives for buyers? The entire still comic is available FOR FREE already, and Patreon backers get rewards for their tiers, so it's not like Doxy owes every patron everything he makes ever. Come on, dude. You wouldn't ask a barber for a free haircut.
